CLIC Software Components

About CLIC

Clic is a component model which promotes components-object symbiosis. A component is implemented as a single object. This has some good consequences. We can reuse the same run-time as for objects without performance loss. Also, objects (legacy code) can be used together with components in a natural way. Actually, objects are considered in Clic as "dirty" components.

Implementation of Clic relies on Pharo Smalltalk. It has been achieved by using only Smalltalk reflective facilities. The class structures are changed to support component properties.
